Up to 25 grants of £1,000 will be awarded to eligible churches in deprived areas of Thanet, Isle of Wight and Cumbria which are running warm spaces registered with Warm Welcome Spaces during the winter of 2024/25 and need a little bit of help to do so.
Warm Spaces grants will only be made to applicants who meet the three criteria below:
1. Operating in a deprived area in one of the following geographic areas:
2. Running a ‘Warm Space’ within a Church-run building during the winter 2024-2025 season.
3. Registered as a Warm Space with the Warm Welcome Campaign
Applicants currently in receipt of other grants from the Laing Family Trust can apply, as long as they meet the stated criteria. Should we receive greater numbers of applications than can be funded, additional factors such as relative deprivation levels will be taken into consideration.
Please ensure that you complete both the short application form and the LFT coversheet (available to download on the links below).
Applications will be reviewed on a first come, first served basis and grants awarded on a rolling basis throughout the application period. The Fund will close once the maximum number of grants have been awarded. Completed applications and coversheets should be sent, with a covering email, to info@laingfamilytrusts.org.uk. We aim to notify you of the outcome of your application, via post, within two weeks of receipt of your application.
